It’s simple, by placing your journey on our reverse auction it allow taxi drivers/companies to see each other’s bids and bid cheaper saving you €€€’s.
Once your auction has finished Shipme2.ie will email you with the winning price and ‘accept this bid’ button. You confirm that the price is acceptable by hitting the ‘accept this bid’ button, which will then allow Shipme2.ie to pass your full details on to the winning bidder. (You may receive extra confirmation from the winning bidder after this confirmation of acceptance).
Shipme2.ie operates Worldwide and therefore you can auction your journey where ever you may wish to travel.
Once you sign up to Shipme2.ie, you will be automatically be stored on our database to enable you to see passengers entering their journey in your local area. Shipme2.ie will automatically e-mail you when there is a passenger travelling from or to your local area. Check the site at will and see what auctions are available. Simply place your bid and wait for acceptance. Remember that you will be in competition and you are welcome to bid as many times as you wish.
Once your winning bid has been accepted, you will receive an e-mail requesting payment of 10% commission of the total agreed winning bid. This must be paid as soon as possible to receive the full customer details so that you can contact them. From this moment on, the pick-up and journey will be as any normal taxi journey with the passenger paying you as normal at the designated drop off location.
Remember to check Shipme2.ie whenever you are ‘out of Town’ because there could be passengers waiting to fill your empty taxi on your return journey.
